This is a caterpillar toy model. The movement to the crank was given by a curve for rotation. This crank in turn rotates the shaft and moves the round cams attached to the shaft. the cams are attached to the shaft at a 30 degree angle from the previous cam. Locators are individually made nd aligned to the respective cam, in turn the cams are constrained to the locator. Further the locators are constrained to the followers. Followers are the long wooden sticks connected from the cam to the respective round body part of the caterpillar. The followers in turn are constrained to the respective body part. The curve made initially for the crank is given rotation values of about 360 degree at regular intervals and is played finally which gives the effect as seen in the video.
